Nervous System

The function of your Nervous System is to respond to your body and environment.

The organs are the brain and the spinal cord.  The brain is the main control center of the nervous system.  It's tissues are the cerebrum, cerebellum, and medulla.

The Muscular System interacts with the Nervous System because your Nervous System makes your muscles contract.

The Skeletal System interacts with it because your vertebra column protects your spinal cord.

A spinal cord injury may block all information to and from your brain.  The causes of it are from not wearing a seat belt in a car accident and from getting badly injured in sports or other activities.
