Muscular System

The function of the Muscular System is movement and flexibility.

Five organs are biceps, triceps, calves, quadriceps, and abdominals.

Biceps relax when you have your arm at an obtuse angle and contract when you have your arm at an acute angle.  They are located at the flexor part of your arm.  The tissue of your biceps is the skeletal muscle.

The Skeletal System is attached to your muscles by tendons and needs the muscles to move.

The Digestive System interacts with the muscular system because your smooth muscle helps move food through your system.

A strain is and injury in which a muscle or tendon is overstretched or torn.  It often happens because a muscle has not been warmed up or a muscle is worked too hard.

Tendinitis is when your tendon has been exercised too much and becomes inflamed from not repairing itself before the next exercise session.
